The 2017 Maserati Levante is a luxury mid-size SUV that was introduced by the Italian automaker Maserati. It is the first-ever SUV produced by Maserati, and it was designed to compete with other high-end SUVs such as the Porsche Cayenne, the BMW X5, and the Mercedes-Benz GLE. The Levante is built on a modified version of the same platform used for the Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans. It features a sleek and muscular exterior design that is both stylish and aerodynamic, with a sloping roofline and a distinctive front grille that is a hallmark of the Maserati brand. Under the hood, the Levante comes with a choice of two turbocharged V6 engines. The base engine is a 3.0-liter V6 that produces 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, while a more powerful 3.0-liter V6 engine with 424 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque is available on higher trim levels.
